Maggie is a 3 year old who shares a room with her younger sister (1 year) Lucia. Since the walls of their room are green, I wanted to make sure to incorporate that into the board. Most importantly, I wanted a design that would be adorable for two little girls, but would still be something that they could grow into.
Here's the board I made for Maggie in green and purple:
And the corresponding board I made for Lucia in green and pink:
Here's how they look together .... I hope they look great in their room! Enjoy, little ones :)

Grab 'em before they go!
I just took these six BonBoards to a local business this morning. The business owner, Lottie, is letting me sell some boards at her Curves. So, if you're looking to pick up a BonBoard in the next few days, either run over to her Curves in Trolley Square or let me know and I'll reserve it for you! Here are the six boards that are for sale at her club:

If you live in Ohio, put in your order now!
As of right now, I haven't yet perfected a way to ship BonBoards successfully -- (I'm working on it, though, I promise!). This means that since I live in Delaware, I can't accept any orders that are outside of driving distance.
The good news is that I'll be home for two weeks in December -- so if you live in/near Ohio and you'd like to order a BonBoard, get your orders in ASAP so that I can hand deliver it to you!

These kids are getting BonBoards for Christmas ... are yours??
A very cool grandma ordered personalized BonBoards for her grandkids for Christmas. Have you put in your Christmas order yet?
These boards are for Amber and Alexandra, two tween girls:
My client asked for a construction themed board for her 4 year old grandson, Connor. So I made this board with the dump truck on it:
And made these push pins to match!
Emmanuel loves football so I made him this board which will be hung with rope:
Jade is into peace signs and neon colors, so she's getting this board for Christmas:
Stay tuned for a picture of the soccer board I made for Trenton!
Merry Christmas to Amber, Alexandra, Emmanuel, Connor, Trenton and Jade!

My friend Sarah is going to a baby shower and wanted to give a unique gift -- Thanks for thinking of BonBoards, Sarah! Even more fun (for me at least!) is that she gave me full creative discretion! All she specified is that she wanted it to say the baby's name and to be in girly colors.
I went with pink, purple, and turquoise -- my three favorite colors when I was a young girl. Here's the picture of the board:
I went with a lighter pink for the flower and put glitter on the center swirl.
One of the things I always do when I make a BonBoard for someone is to equip them with matching thumbtacks! I add these little baggies full of cute thumbtacks and BonBoard business cards.
So here is the final board that Sarah will give to baby Isabella's mom at the baby shower! I hope she loves it! :)

Sport your favorite sports team.
My roommate/BFF went to Louisville so she is a HUGE fan. The symbol of Louisville is the fleur de lis -- this is what it looks like.
Anytime we find anything (door mat, hand towel, stationary, bracelet, etc) that has that symbol on it, she always buys whatever it is! So as a gift for my roommate, I made her this BonBoard for her office... a fun but still somewhat professional bulletin board for her office that lets everyone know she's a Louisville fan!
What sport or team do you love that you want to sport in your room or office?

For the bug lover
Here is the perfect bulletin board for the bug lover! This board would be adorable for the outdoor adventurer in your family or would be a cute addition to a red/white/black room. I can hang it with black, white or red ribbon or tulle.
This adorable butterfly board is a great option for someone a little more girlie. Although it is difficult to see in the picture, the butterfly's wings have glitter on them. This board is a fun way to add a bit of color and sparkle to your daughter's room!
Not interested in ladybugs and butterflies? Put in a request for a different creepy crawler like a spider or a bumblebee!

baby james
From the day my dear friend Dana told me she and her husband were pregnant, I’ve been anxiously awaiting the birth of this child as if he was my own nephew. Yesterday, I got to meet their sweet baby James for the first time and he was absolutely perfect. Such a beautiful baby, so happy, not fussy at all, and he wrapped his little hand around my finger the whole time I held him. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. Seriously, look how cute he is:
I wanted to do something special for baby James so I made him a bulletin board that picked up on the colors of his nursery. The nursery is very gender neutral with gray-ish walls and a big map on the wall next to his crib. Here’s a picture of it:
So, I made him a board to go above his crib that would pick up on the colors in the map. I chose sage green and tan for the stripes, and then wrote his name in a navy blue.
Instead of hanging it with tulle or ribbon like I usually do, I chose to hang it with rope to make it a little more boy-ish for him.
Here’s a picture of it hanging on my brick wall. If I can convince Dana to take a picture of it hung in the nursery, I’ll be sure to share it with all of you.
Congratulations Dana and Justin, and welcome to the world sweet baby james!

Here, take my card.
As I've been talking to people about the BonBoards, everyone says "Oh I know someone who would LOVE these! Do you have a card??" And unfortunately, I didn't. I'd scratch my email address down on a post it note and hope that it didn't get lost in their purse. When my inbox wasn't flooded with emails saying "I got your name from so-and-so and I'd like to order a board," I decided it was time to order some business cards.
So from now on when I'm chatting with someone about the BonBoards, I can say, "Here, take my card." And what a cute card it is :)

flowers, flowers, flowers
When I first started making these boards, I only ever made these flowers. Granted, I made TONS of these flower boards in every possible color combination, but I was only making flowers.
There is something about the dark and light purple that I love. It would be adorable in a 5 year old girl's bedroom but also in my bedroom - and I'm in my twenties!
I also love using brighter colors like this one in pink:
I always love making these more personalized by painting the flower in diluted colors and writing someone's name over the top of it. No one has ordered one like this yet so I don't have an example to show you. Be the first and send your order to bonboards@gmail.com !

Lottie's New Club
This summer, the Curves that I belong to changed ownership. In the process, our new owner Lottie, has made changes to the club. She started a bulletin board where she can post notes and announcements that she thinks the members should read. The problem was that the plain bulletin board was blending into the scenery -- she needed a bright bulletin board that will attract her members' attention! If they aren't noticing the board, why would they notice the announcements?
So I made Lottie a bulletin board that was bright and fun! Here is a close up picture of it:
And here is a picture of it hanging on my brick wall so you can see what it looks like when its hung:
Hopefully now her members will notice the board AND her announcements!

Welcome to BonBoards!
Hi! I’m Emily and I’m what puts the Bon in BonBoards. I have always appreciated personalized gifts – the extra thought that goes into a gift when it includes your initials, favorite colors, favorite sports team, etc, can really make a gift that much better.
So that’s why I created BonBoards – personalized bulletin boards for absolutely everyone. I can make you a bulletin board with flowers or crowns for your little princess, a ladybug or bumble bee for your adventurous child, a football or basketball for your sports fan, college logos for your graduating senior … if you can dream it up, I can make it for you.
Make sure you come back and visit this site again because I’ll continually post pictures of the boards I make for other people. Anything you see can be personalized exactly as you want it: the design, the colors, the name, etc. Each board is only $25 and orders can be sent directly to ebonistall@gmail.com. Happy gifting!
